Hiring a sweeper, scrubber drier or industrial pressure washer is the ideal option for demanding applications and allows for greater flexibility should your site requirements change. With our Flexi -Hire format you benefit from the machine being fully serviced and maintained for the duration of the hire and periodic machine rotation to ensure you always have an up to date machine that matches your operational needs.
If you prefer to buy equipment then we offer new and fully refurbished machines to match all budgets which can be supplied with a tailor made maintenance service plan.

We supply machines and provide maintenance support throughout the UK utilising our own logistics fleet and van stocked field engineers. Based in Darlington we cover all areas of the UK. Including Darlington, County Durham, Teesside, Newcastle and North Yorkshire as well as all areas of the UK.
On the shorter term hire we charge a competitive transport cost but can react at short notice to provide same day/next day delivery. Size of equipment and location will also determine delivery or collection costs.
We cover all areas of the UK including England Scotland and Wales including the North East, Darlington, County Durham, Teesside, Newcastle and North Yorkshire. We also provide Nationwide service support on all hires and sales.

We will provide initial phone advice which can often get you up and running and if that doesn’t rectify the issue we will send one of our fully trained, field engineers to site. If the engineer can’t fix the fault we utilise our extensive hire fleet to swap the machine over minimising downtime and if not on a hire contract offer a competitive short term hire to minimise operational downtime.
On our Columbus Cleaning Machines Flexi hire format there is no contract to sign, it’s a rolling hire agreement and with over 30 years’ experience we understand that site and operators requirements can change so our clients can easily upsize/downsize or de-hire equipment at any point without notice or termination costs.
Our range of floor cleaning machines are extremely operator friendly and easy to use. Floor cleaning machines are suitable for all types of industrial and commercial floor cleaning.
The most popular machines for cleaning hard floor areas are battery floor scrubber driers and battery factory sweepers. We have a large range of scrubber driers and sweepers for all sizes of floor. If you need to clean a large area we would recommend a ride-on floor scrubber drier or sweeper. For smaller areas we have compact push along cleaning machines.
Regular cleaning with one of our industrial cleaning machines will resolve dirty floor issues. A battery floor scrubber drier can be used daily. For larger areas a battery sit-on floor scrubber drier might be a better solution, these machines are also designed for daily use.
We can arrange one of the team to come out to site and advise which will be the best cleaning machine .
We offer small medium and large battery floor scrubber driers with many different brush options which will resolve ingrained dirt.

If you have a factory that suffers from dust we would recommend one of our battery factory floor sweepers. If it is a large area we suggest a ride on sweeper . All of our range of floor sweepers have a filtration system which will avoid dust clouds during use.
If the factory is dirty or has oil on the floor we would recommend a battery floor scrubber drier which wet scrubs and vacuums leaving the floor clean and dry .
Commercial cleaning is generally using light industrial cleaning machines such as vacuums, single disc polishers and carpet cleaners. Industrial cleaning relies on more heavy duty cleaning machines such as industrial pressure washers and floor cleaning machines like floor scrubber driers or battery powered sweeping machines.
