From asphalt to sand: as with its products, Lavor excels on every “terrain” even in sport and goes from the slopes to the Saudi Arabian desert with ease. In 2023, in fact, it was a sponsor of the Desert Endurance Motorsport Team involved in the Dakar Classic .
This all-Italian team participated, at the beginning of the year, in the historic off-road competition with 2 Iveco Musone trucks and 10 crews on board a stainless Fiat Panda and an equally indestructible Fiat Campagnola; the first to reach the end of the race in the Arabian desert with all four vehicles!
Having closed an exceptional 2023, Lavor is preparing for a 2024 even richer in sport. They have already begun by confirming themselves alongside the Desert Endurance Motorsport Team which, at the beginning of December, embarked its vehicles for Barcelona, the meeting point for the European crews departing for the 2024 Dakar Classic which, on New Year’s Day, will always start in Saudi Arabia, over a route of over 5000 kilometres.
The team will be competing with an Iveco 80/17 truck and a Toyota LJ70 and Lavor will be ready to support it as a Gold Sponsor .
